The Magic of
Children's Stories

In my work as a Family Physician, I’ve cared for thousands of patients, including hundreds of children, from newborns to adolescents.

Although I’ve been writing for years, it wasn’t until I became an aunt and later a great-aunt that I started writing children’s stories.

I hope that my unique perspective as a Family Physician, an aunt, and a great-aunt, has given me the insight to write children’s stories that are fun and captivating, but also educational, and woven with life lessons.

Ada M. Marin is a Family Physician who has been writing since she was a child.

After 40 years of practice, she recently retired from her successful Family Medicine practice, where she cared for everyone from newborns to 100 year old patients.

She is married and enjoys writing, photography, travel, and genealogy.

But most importantly, she loves being an aunt and a great-aunt to nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, for whom she writes stories, poems, and word search puzzles.

Henry is a 4 year old, who, after a very bad experience getting his first haircut at about age 2, has been allowed to grow his hair long.

His great grandfather Grampy, who has been ill, also has long hair and a new long beard.

Henry knows he doesn't have just ONE hair -
